Six tasks plus the four computer files open the gate, and it stays open. The classic way to learn the maps and the killers.
HOW TO PLAY
Up to four survivors, one killer, one gate. Everything you need for your first match — and for the ones after it.
Horror Intense is an isometric co-op survival horror game you play in your browser. Up to four survivors share a haunted map with one killer. The killer can be a friend playing online or the AI; empty survivor seats are filled by bots, so you can also play alone.
Survivors complete tasks at the map’s stations — each one is a short minigame — and recover the four files hidden in the computers. The files are shared with the whole team: they reveal who the killer is, his power, his weakness and how long a seal holds. When the objectives are done, the gate opens and you escape.
The killer cannot die. Hitting him with ordinary weapons only stuns and pushes him; hitting him with his own weakness seals his power, makes him forget where you are and stuns him hard.
The host picks the mode before the match starts.
Six tasks plus the four computer files open the gate, and it stays open. The classic way to learn the maps and the killers.
Every station becomes a generator. Six generators and the four files only unlock the lever; winning the lever minigame opens the gate, and from then on you have two minutes to get out while the fire spreads — in the last 45 seconds the smoke drains your health. Failing a minigame here gives your position away to the killer.
Bring the power to 100% with six generators and keep them running: each maintenance stabilizes a unit for two minutes. The first hit wounds you and the second locks you in a cage; teammates free you by beating the lock. You lose when every remaining survivor is caged.
On phones and tablets the game draws a virtual joystick and touch buttons: interact, dash, weapon, swap, item, map and your skill as a survivor; attack, power and stairs as the killer.
Each survivor has an innate archetype. Characters who share an archetype share exactly the same numbers — pick the one you like and the role your team needs.
On top of the archetype, each character carries one skill of your choice, used with Shift. Skills unlock by playing matches and are never sold. A skill that pays in the same currency as the character’s archetype is not available to that character.
A dash with 200 ms of immunity when he is hunting you up close.
Unlocks after 6 matchesFor 20 s after the gate opens, your dash costs less stamina.
Available from the first matchAfter taking a hit, your next dash costs less stamina.
Available from the first matchA wider hit window in every minigame and one extra mistake wherever the game forgives one.
Available from the first matchHold to sneak: your footsteps can barely be heard.
Unlocks after 4 matchesA shout that steals his attention for 3 s and brings him to you.
Unlocks after 2 matchesEach of the thirteen killers has one weakness — a kerosene torch, a consecrated mirror, a school bell, a bag of coarse salt... A hit with the right one seals his power, disorients him and stuns him hard. The computer files tell you which one you need.
Common weapons such as the crowbar or the baseball bat only stun a little and push him back. Only hits that connect wear a weapon down, and the sawed-off shotgun stays empty until minigames are completed to unseal the ammunition.
Rare objects appear in up to three free spots per map, each with a 55% chance. The vigil charm, the ritual incense and the sealed reliquary stun the killer for 1, 2 and 3 seconds; each has a single use, activated with Q when he is close.
Before a match you can take up to three items: a medical supply, a phone for private team messages and a flashlight.
Everything you carry into the match is at risk: if you die, you lose what was still equipped. Every match pays credits — 140 if you escape, 45 if you fall — and you start with 1,200.
